Andy lives and works in the coastal region of Hampshire.

He first picked up a camera in 2010 and initially used it solely as a focus (!) to get out into the Hampshire countryside. An interest in wildlife photography began. Over the last couple of years that interest has given way to landscape photography, a genre which allows more creativity and facilitates greater artistic input. Now in 2017 and having built up Hampshire Social Snappers to a large group, his aims are to continue to bring photography to anyone who wishes to dabble :)

Hampshire Social Snappers is a not for profit enterprise bringing social photography to over 570 enthusiastic amateur photographers. Events are run frequently and are open to all, allowing amateur photographers to get out and about in the Hampshire countryside. People learn the various genres of photography and moreover meet like minded people at the same time. His open, welcoming and inclusive nature pervades this particular group.

Events are run locally with some forays further afield; to date we have run events in Cornwall, the Lake District, Skomer, the Orkneys, Prague and Goa.

If you wish to go have a look at HSS, there is a link on the 'links' page which takes you directly there. Membership is, of course, free.

Sales of Andy's personal work from this site help fund those activities.
